“Little Girl” takes place in an alternative 1867 America, in which the Confederacy
won the Brothers’ War (also known as "War of Yankee Aggression" or “Second
American Revolution").
The story accompanies a Little Girl, a slave who escapes from her master’s farm in
California in an attempt to reach the eastern shores and get on a ship to Europe, where
she believes she can be free.
